Remix OS allowed PC users to run Android mobile apps on any compatible Intel-based PC. The latest version of Remix OS is 3.0.207 released on 25 November, 2016 since, then the development was discontinued. The Android version for 3.0.207 is Marshmallow (6.0) and now the Android is running Oreo (8.0 at the time of writing this article) till then, the Marshmallow is outdated. Although we'll install this in our intel based pc and Assuming that you've at least one of the following operating system:

1. Windows
2. Linux
3. Mac or
4. Hackintosh

Download Requirements:
Remix OS
Additional Download if you're installing to USB instead of HDD:
Etcher for Mac
Etcher for Windows
Etcher for Linux
Installing Remix OS into USB
Before we start the procedure, we assume that you've dowloaded the above required files and installed Etcher in your PC and extracted the Remix Os.zip. Open Etcher and select the image Remix OS you've downloaded then select Usb and wait until it completes then once, it is completed then reboot your system and boot from USB then you're now a Remix OS tester from USB. Note : Whenever you need to use Remix OS you need to insert your USB drive.
Installing Remix OS into HDD through Windows
First partitioning your disk would be better for new Remix OS, goto disk Management and create new Fat32 partition about total size of 30 GB. When you downloaded the Remix OS from above link, if you've noticed there's also another file called Remix_OS_for_PC_Installation_Tool-B2016080802.exe, double click on file
Installing Remix OS into HDD through Mac/Linux
Extract the downloaded zip by double click in Mac && Right Click Extract Files in Linux. The Remix_OS_for_PC_Installation_Tool-B2016080802.exe is a windows executable file and doesn't supported on mac & Linux but luckily there are programs which execute .exe
Mac Users can use WineBottler Program Loader. I have already explained it her, please take a look at it and install it if you haven't already. Once you've done installing wine and Adobe Air following that guide you're good to proceed to our next step. Now, close wineBottler application if opened.

Just double click Remix_OS_for_PC_Installation_Tool-B2016080802.exe and a popup dialog will appear, just click go. Assuming the downloaded Remix Os.iso Now, Click on Browse and select / from Look in dropdown menu then click on USERS > Your_User_Name > Downloads > select Remix_OS_for_PC_Android_M_64bit_B2016112101.iso. Then click ok and a new dialog box will appear with asking about the size for Remix OS and select the size you want and I assume that the size you selected is available in your Mac/Linux installed drive.

The final step, This step is not required if you can choose between OS and Remix OS on reboot. If you cannot choose Remix OS on reboot then Goto the Remix Installed Partition (Windows) or MacDrive/Users/Your_User_Name/wineFiles/drive_c
